Yoga is the transformational journey from the isolated, alienated and separate self into Unity Consciousness. It is the journey of dissolving the root causes of psychological and emotional suffering.
Enlightenment is the final and complete stage of the yogic path. The enlightened state of consciousness heals the separation that divides the soul from its Source. It is the birth of a happy, peaceful and contented life.
An Enlightenment Intensive Retreat could be called The Yoga of Enlightenment.
Does any of this make sense to you? Is it ringing a bell of understanding or familiarity for you.
Do you understand what Carl Rogers, Ramana Maharshi and Pantanjali are pointing at?
Here’s a modern artistic and Hollywood movie approach to what’s being said. In the movie, Anger Management, Jack Nicholson is a therapist and Adam Sandler, his client. During a group therapy session, Nicholson asks Sandler to tell him who he is. Sandler responds by telling him "I'm an executive assistant for a pet care company..." Nicholson interrupts and says to Sandler, “I don’t want you to tell us what you do, tell us who you are.” Sandler thinks for a moment and responds by telling what he like to play tennis. Nicholson again interrupts and says,”Just tell me who you are not what you like to do. Eventually, Sandler confused and uncertain says, “Maybe you could tell me an example of what a good answer would be.”
If you have an interest in knowing who you really are,
If you have an interest in the Yoga of Enlightenment,
If you have an interest in the transformational journey from ignorant and isolated self to the wisdom of Unity Consciousness, then you would appreciate the Enlightenment Intensive Retreat.
An Enlightenment Intensive is a pragmatic exploration of reality.
It is not hypothetical, theological or idealogical.
It is practical, active and engaging.
It is a journey of uniting action, wisdom and love.
You engage the body, mind and the heart.
You are the scientist, the philosopher and the lover.
You are the experiment and the scientist.
The observer and the observed.
You are both the poem and the poet……the lover and the beloved.
Osha Reader wrote a short poem after one of her enlightenment experiences:
Accepting everything, expecting nothing,
Keep coming back to the present moment
Where everything you've ever wished for
At the Enlightenment Intensive Retreat you are encouraged and inspired to go beyond the realm of limited perceptual knowledge and venture into the mode of transformational consciousness or direct knowing.
This is where the realm of duality is dissolved.
Where the perceiver and the perceived become one.
Where the knower, the known and the knowing dissolve into Union Consciousness.
This is the place where separation ceases to exist.
This is the home of No Mind.
And this is the Yoga of Enlightenment
and the place where the secret of Yoga
reveals Her self as your very own Self.
