What is Enlightenment? 2021 New Year PRE-Enlightenment Intensive Teaching 1 Dear Friends, In about a month we will be gathering for the annual New Year Enlightenment Intensive. The last two EI’s had to be cancelled (Easter and July) due to the Covid virus. Let’s hope the South Australia borders will be opened and everyone can get here for a great retreat. I’ve sent out the confirmation info letters a couple of weeks ago to help with your planning and preparations. I often send out Pre EI teachings 4-5 weeks before the Intensive begins. This time I also prepared and put together a video teaching titled, What is Enlightenment? for the first teaching as well. It includes Charles Berner, the originator of the Enlightenment Intensive; Lawrence Noyes and Osha Reader. It is part of the Enlightenment Intensive Master Course that I occasionally facilitate. I came across this quote from The Gnostic Gospels by Elaine Pagels, probably decades ago by now. It’s attributed to the Gospel of Thomas. I always have to smile that while Jesus has been known as The Son of God, he certainly also practiced the healing power of the dyad communication practice that we use. "If you bring forth what is within you, what you bring forth will save you. If you do not bring forth what is within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you." I read those words in the short creative experimental video I played with making during the covid lock down here in South Australia…..which is ending very soon so the annual 2021 New Year Enlightenment Intensive will certainly happen. in Light and Joy |
