I was on an Enlightenment intensive Retreat and had no idea what I was in for. Jesus came to me and in those few short seconds and over the years that followed my life had changed and I was indelibly left with the knowledge that there was no higher calling in life than to reduce the suffering of others.
Even though that experience had an obvious Christian ‘flavour’, I’ve had knowledge come to me that resonated with, and is reflected in many of the teachings of the various theistic and non-theistic religions and so I regard myself as spiritual as opposed to a label of ‘Religious’. I've since gone on to write about self-realisation / enlightenment and specifically Enlightenment Intensive Retreats with my book, Unlock The Youniverse. |

Today, I appreciate this process with even more understanding of what a powerful tool it is for shifting our vantage point. This concentrated self Inquiry process walked our consciousness through different levels of referencing.... from very personal to universal... all through our own direct experience of knowing. For some, the experience opens our consciousness to directly access a state of "enlightenment"... or perspective of reality that is many steps away from ordinary mind and expands to directly access aspects of existence/universe/love itself.These states can come and go for anyone. As our systems become more and more familiar with these capacities through different meditations and practices (for example Enlightenment Intensives, Big Mind, Maha Mudra Meditation, or Plant Medicine Ceremonies) combined with healing and upgrading our psychological and emotional body, energetics, and physical well-being...
these different vantages beyond ordinary mind can become more our baseline (some call this a stage vs state). We can all do this! We humans are AMAZING!!! With all of "me" and all that is, I express my endless gratitude. I cry tears now as I write this for the gifts of such tools of liberation, to have been guided by others with them... and to now be able to guide others. |

Darren gained his Bachelor of Music in Piano from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under Elizabeth Powell, as well as degrees in Law and Ancient History from Sydney University in 1998. In 2001 he graduated with a Masters in Piano from the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University where he studied with Natasha Vlassenko and Max Olding. Following this, in 2003 Darren spent time in Germany at the Musikhochschule Trossingen, working further on the solo Piano and Lieder repertoire. Darren currently resides in Germany.
