2017 New Year Eve Enlightenment Intensive Confirmation Letter This is to confirm that you are registered for the 2016 New Year Enlightenment Intensive. This letter will tell you what to bring, when to arrive, payment details, travel instructions and other important information. There is a lot of information in this email. Email me if you have any questions. Schedule The 2017 New Year Enlightenment Intensive BEGINS: Day: Friday Date: 30 December 2016 Time: 7:30 PM Arrive by: 6:30 PM for a 7:30 PM start. The 4.5 Day Enlightenment Intensive Retreat COMPLETES: Day: Tuesday Date: 3 January 2017 Time: 12:00 PM (Noon) The 6.5 Day Enlightenment Intensive Retreat COMPLETES: Day: Thursday Date: 5 January 2017 Time: 12:00 PM (Noon) 4.5 Day EI Retreat begins Friday Evening, 30 December, 7:30 PM and ends Tuesday, 12:00 PM (Noon), 3 January 6.5 Day EI Retreat begins Friday Evening, 30 December, 7:30 PM and ends Thursday, 12:00 PM (Noon), 5 January Please have dinner before you arrive The Relating and Spiritual Consciousness Workshop that follows the Enlightenment Intensive: Begins: Wednesday, 5 January at 7:30 PM Completes: Saturday, 7 January at 12:00 PM WHAT TO BRING TO THE ENLIGHTENMENT INTENSIVE RETREAT
Dress is informal and comfortable. Shoes are not worn inside; bring indoor slippers or socks for your personal comfort. Bring comfortable shoes and clothes for outdoor walks. Bring with you to the Retreat your own sheets, pillow case, blankets and pillow or sleeping bag. Bring a sleeping mat or inflatable mattress if you have one. The Retreat facility also has several foam mattresses and pillows that you can use. Bring a torch for outdoor evening walks. Bring your own towel and basic toiletries including: toothpaste, shampoo, soap. Bring a tent if you would like to stay in a tent. Bring a cushion for sitting if you wish but we have several here. Bring some food to share like fresh fruit, nuts, dried fruit, crackers, biscuits, etc. All meals are provided at the Retreat. If you have special dietary needs or take vitamins or use food supplements, bring those things you need. LEAVE AT HOME The following is not used during the Enlightenment Intensive Retreat: shaving gear, cosmetics, deodorant, non-prescription drugs, jewellery, books, writing materials, MP3 players, mobile phone, and anything else that would distract you. If you smoke, drink alcohol or caffeine it would be to your advantage to stop or cut down at least three days before the Retreat begins. No alcohol, cigarettes or caffeine will be used during the Enlightenment Intensive Retreat. RETREAT TUITION DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT It is helpful if you can complete your FULL tuition payment before arriving at the retreat. This will support the Enlightenment Intensive starting on time and speed up the process of the retreat registration that includes pre-Intensive interviews. You can pay by internet bank transfer or using PayPal. Otherwise cash can be paid when you arrive. Credit Cards are accepted through the PayPal web site. If you are flying into Adelaide Airport, email me your flight arrival and departure details and your mobile phone number. I will try to organize an airport pick up for you. If an airport pick up cannot be arranged, transportation details from the airport to Mount Barker are given below. I will arrange to have you picked you up in Mount Barker. Following the retreat a ride to the Mt Barker bus stop will be arranged if a ride from a local participant is not available. If you need a ride from the airport or bus in Mount Barker let me know so that it can be arranged. For the period of the Retreat set aside all other endeavours and dedicate yourself to this task. Please arrive at the Enlightenment Intensive Retreat as rested and free of distraction as possible. The Retreat begins for you when you make the commitment to attend. Contact me if you have any questions about the Retreat. Refund Policy Fifteen or more days before the Retreat a full refund is available. Up to Fourteen days before the retreat a full refund, less the deposit is the policy. Depending on circumstances, i.e., illness, etc. the deposit can be applied to another Retreat. There is no refund if you cancel within 7 days of the Retreat or if you leave the retreat.
