Good Morning Friends and Lovers of Truth,
The morning sun is bright red and rising as it had done each morning while sharing what we became conscious of during sleeping contemplation in our first enlightenment dyad of the day. Tell me who you are. Tell me what you are.
It's now a few days since the Enlightenment Intensive completed.
How are you doing? How are you feeling? I'd be pleased to hear how you are and what feedback you have about your experience at the EI.
At the closing circle I talked briefly about how to maintain the sacred space that we all created in the retreat. I was going to write more about that and then remembered I had done so another time and had already posted it on the web site.

Here's another VERY helpful focus of attention that you can do to help you develop and maintain sacred space in daily life. It could be called a meditation in action. It's very simple in practice and yields a rich return for your spiritual life when practiced regularly and 'informally'. But remember, it's like planting seeds in your garden. You've got to let them grow and over time the seeds will yield a bountiful harvest. I began practicing this meditation many, many years ago. It's value is that you can practice this regularly in a variety of daily situations; at the airport waiting for your flight; while talking with your spouse, friends or strangers; at footy games; at the pub; at work; while walking down the street; etc. It doesn't require that you sit quiet in a lotus posture or putting your MP3 head phones on. You can do it as much as you wish in all and every daily situation. It can be particularly helpful in stressful situations.
Here it is:
PUT YOUR ATTENTION ON OTHERS AS DIVINE BEINGS OR NON PHYSICAL INDIVIDUALS; AS GOD; AS DIVINE LOVE; AS PERFECT AND PURE BEINGS; AS THE ABSOLUTE. That's it. Simple. Do that regularly and your thoughts and attitudes about others and life will shift from the ordinary to the extraordinary.
Let me know your experience after a couple of weeks of trying this out.
